Speeding down the tarmac, or flying down a trail is one of the best feelings in the world. Enjoy the wind in your hair without any worries that you’re able to stop.

Here’s what to look out for with your brakes:
- That both levers are working.
- Your brake pad thickness. If they look thin or worn out (less than ¼ width), they likely need to be replaced.
- Make sure the pads are not catching or rubbing on your rotors.
- Check that your rotors are not bent or damaged.
- Check that your rotors, braking mechanism, and levers are all properly tightened.
